A day where students were able to exchange clothes, as a fun alternative to consuming new clothes which are bad for the environment
Steps :
We set up a container a week in advance, where students were able to leave a maximum of 3 pieces of clothing. Then, us in the committee set up a room with hangers and dressing rooms and made sure all of the handed in clothing was displayed beautifully. We put on music and had baked muffins and brownies. Then the students arrived and they got to take home new clothes in exchange for what they handed in. So if you handed in 3 articles of clothing, you could choose 3 new pieces that someone else had handed in.
